Report for duty.

So I was on Goodreads tonight.

There was a public poll, in the righthand corner. "Do you have a book blog?" it asked me. I clicked "No", because there was no option for "UNFORTUNATELY no, but I would love to have one." No option. None. Not even an "I'm going to make one soon." Or "Thanks for the idea, I'm going to make one now."
There was an option for "Umm......... IDK." What. The. Knucklehead.

Anyway, I considered this question deeply, spent a lot of time considering. Weighed the pros and cons. I already write two stories for Wattpad found here, and my best friend and I am working on a fantasy fiction collaborative story. And I have tons of exams, being in the climax of my educative life.

But alas [ha-ha, alas, such a Dumbledore word], here I am, unable to resist the temptation of recording and analysing every book I read/ remember that I read, and hoping that some of them piques your interest.

My posts in this blog will not be reviews per se; they will be more like overviews and then lengthy gushing. I am awful, I repeat, awful at criticism. "This book has depth and meaning but the writer is a twit-headed bimbo and the writing sometimes falls flat but other times soars through the sky" bullshit I just can't make up. I don't read books to criticise, or even analyse. I read them to enjoy, just as I am going to write to enjoy. I hope you read these to enjoy and not judge as well, or else I'll be in boiling hot water.

Here's to hoping I don't screw this up.

Amen.
